Quality and Logistics
QPE Quality staff have at their disposal a well resourced quality and inspection department complete with 5 Coordinate measuring machines (CMM being able to a measure to a very high precision to within ± 3 micron) for inspection on multiple shifts. QPE Advanced Machining is quality and management compliant to ISO9001:2015, AS 9100D:2016 Aerospace, and ITAR compliant.
The majority of our work is managed with a high level of value adding performed such as painting, plating, and assembly so it is important that QPE has excellent staff to oversee this critical area of supplier management and quality control.
Our logistics staff take extreme care to ensure that your product arrives safely and on schedule.
Quality Control & Project Management
QPE Project Managers are industry sector knowledgeable and ready to assist you on engineering and manufacturing design input, prototyping through to component precision machining and assembly completion. Our Quality Department is well trained in validation to Aerospace, ITAR and other Defence and Medical requirements.
Large Envelope CNC Machining
QPE has a suite of larger machine tools for your large milling and turning requirments.
CNC Milling to 5 metre x 3 metre capacity plus 4 axis Horizontal Boring to 3 metre x 2 metre capacity with syncronous table.
Service & Repair
We offer comprehensive maintenance and repair services to maintain high-performance equipment. All machine breakdown, reconditioning and reverse engineering is completed by QPE. With four large engineering and manufacturing facilities in Adelaide, we provide fast turnaround on all manufacturing requirements. We strive to effect repairs using original parts or QPE manufactured components to minimise downtime and get your production up and running with minimal disruption.
Fitting/Assembly/Through Life Support Capability.
QPE has an enviable reputation of solid partnering with Global Defence Primes, OEM's and their Tiers. With a tradition of innovative and meticulous manufacturing coupled with dependable Through Life Support, QPE ensures Defence assets are maintained at the highest level of fit for purpose throughout their service life.
Cyber Security
It is important in these times to have a robust information security framework to protect from disruptive, damaging or possibly lethal cyber breaches as well as to ensure complete security of customer data.
For this reason QPE have engaged Secure State to provide ongoing auditing and upgrades to our CYBER Security posture.
